Description:    T&L (formerly Stafford Consultants) was selected by the City of Princeton to assist with development of the City’s Stormwater Management Plan.  The firm was also selected to assist the Princeton Sanitary Board with development of a wastewater facilities plan, which includes long-term planning for combined sewer overflow.  As the City and Sanitary Board’s consultant, the firm was involved with conferences including Princeton, Huntington, and Morgantown in developing legislation for developing stormwater utilities.  Initial consulting services performed by the firm include stormwater studies and planning for improvements to drainage along Stafford Drive.

T&L provided Architectural and Engineering services for the Radford University Athletic Foundation to provide NCAA-level lighting and improved spectator seating for the men’s baseball program. Prior to finalizing the layout for the baseball complex, T&L developed programs for baseball and softball teams, which included relocation of softball field, lighting upgrades, improvements to baseball stadium, and a hitting facility.

The project included new NCAA-level lighting, improved spectator seating and viewing (+/- 750 seats), stadium features such as main entry from upper parking lot, ticket gate, public restrooms, concessions, plaza areas; and new Press Box.

Thompson & Litton was selected to provide professional Architectural & Engineering services for additions and renovations to Historic Calfee Park which is a Minor League Baseball Stadium used by the Pulaski Yankees.

T&L provided renovation of the existing home team clubhouse; locker rooms, player restrooms and showers, new weight and fitness room, film room, coaches offices and lockers, Visitor’s Clubhouse, athletic training facility, umpire locker room, and additional public restrooms.
The project also included relocation of the existing concessions to accommodate a new player’s lounge,  and demolition of the existing press box, and construction of a new 100-seat grandstand and press box located behind home plate.

Virginia Tech Marching Virginians Practice Facility

T&L was retained by Virginia Tech to provide professional architectural and engineering services for the development of a new Virginia Tech Marching Virginians Practice Facility. The facility is located on the existing Inert Debris Site, which was situated approximately .15 miles to the southeast of the intersection of Southgate Drive and Sterrett Street.

The building program included an enclosed structure housing, an Instrument Storage Room, and a Drum Line Room to accommodate around 350 musicians. Attached to the enclosed structure housing is an open air pavilion providing protection from the elements. An artificial turf is sized to accommodate a regulation-size football field, including sidelines on each side, and permanently striped and illuminated for night use. The existing Marching Virginians Conductor’s Tower was relocated to a permanent site at the field.
