Appalachian School of Pharmacy

The Appalachian College of Pharmacy, located in Buchanan County, was founded in 2003. The highly successful College operates Virginia’s only three year pharmacy program. The college completed a renovation of Garden Hall in 2007, which provided a gymnasium, Library and Learning Resource Center, student laboratory, faculty research facility, Business Office, Student Affairs Office, Office of the Registrar, Financial Aid Office, student and staff lounges, and the College’s boardroom.

Subsequently, the College elected to design and build a new academic building, McGlothlin Hall, on a site adjacent to Garden Hall. T&L was selected by the College to provide planning, design, bidding, and construction administration services for the new McGlothlin Hall building. Serving as the center of the College’s educational activities, it contains:

  • Two large lecture halls
  • Multiple classrooms
  • Faculty research facility
  • Conference room
  • Academic Affairs Office
  • Office of the Dean
  • Faculty and staff offices
