Multi-office mid-Atlantic E/A firm seeking a CAD Technician to produce engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit. Minimum Job Requirements

· Associates Degree or Technical School Degree in computer aided design (CAD) and/or GIS

· 3-5 years of experience preferred

· US Citizen

· Driver’s license and reliable transportation

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

· Proficient in AutoCAD and typical GIS software

· Proficient in Microsoft office programs such as Word and Excel

· Proficient in Revit

· Experience working with point clouds from a Tremble model

· Strong communication skills

· Attention to detail

· Time management

· Self-starter capable of completing tasks with reasonable direction

Job Duties:

· Show up daily and ready to work

· Assist the design and project engineers with development of the engineering documents

· Find and manipulate GIS information to be use din base mapping and exhibits

· Develop the AutoCAD drawings in accordance with firm standards

· .Perform field work from time to time with a design engineer

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year
