Dan Berenato, AIA

Daniel (Dan) Berenato, AIA, is a Senior Project Manager, focusing on the needs of T&Ls K-12 Education sector.  He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Architecture and a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering.  Dan served in the Civil Engineer Corps of the United States Navy, performing facilities planning, design, construction management and maintenance & operations management at bases in the U.S., U.K., and Somalia. He retired from active duty in 1998.  

Since retirement from active duty Dan served as the Director of Facilities & Planning for Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) in Virginia.  He was responsible for all phases of facilities development including the maintenance and operations of 2.25M square feet of infrastructure that houses 20 schools and 10,000 students.  In his 21 years with the County, Dan managed the planning, design, and construction of new elementary, middle and high schools, as well as school renovations, additions and capital maintenance projects.
