Virginia Community College System Master Plans

T&L has completed many Master Plans and Master Plan updates through the years on Higher Education institutions. Most recently, T&L completed a Master Plan Updates for Southside Virginia Community College, Wytheville Community College (123 Acres), and Southwest Virginia Community College (131 acres). As part of the site engineering for these Master Plan updates, T&L evaluated the stormwater management system in accordance with new (2014) DEQ Regulations. These evaluations included:

• Developing an inventory of the existing system;
• Performing hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of the existing system;
• Performing runoff reduction method spreadsheet calculations;
• Planning stormwater management (water quantity/water quality) including identifying options for stormwater best management practices (BMPs) that can be utilized for future development/growth at the campus.
